Privacy Policy

Last updated · June 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how What’sThat (“What’sThat”, “we”) handles personal data in connection with our website and software.

Information we collect

  • Website visitors: basic analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device) and anything you submit through a contact or signup form.
  • Subscription customers: business contact details and the information needed to provision and bill the service.
  • End users of the widget: during a guided session, voice and screen-share content is processed transiently to provide guidance. The widget runs in the end user’s browser and does not access your backend systems, databases, or credentials.

How we use it

To provide, secure, and improve What’sThat; to process payments; to respond to you; and to meet legal obligations.

Processors we rely on

We share data only with service providers that help us operate, such as our hosting provider, our payment provider (which may act as Merchant of Record), our analytics provider, and our voice/AI model provider. Each processes data on our behalf under contract.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Transient session media is not retained beyond what is needed to deliver the guidance, except where you ask us to retain session logs for your own review.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing founders@whatsthat.tech.
